<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source control device, an image display device, and a projector in which improvement of color balance is realized, and in which stability is introduced relating to temperature characteristics of a solid light source. <P>SOLUTION: This is the light source control device E1 including a sensor of different change characteristics, and equipped with the center wavelength sensor 2 to detect the center wavelength of the solid light source, a brightness sensor 3 to detect brightness of the solid light source, a light source information obtaining means to obtain light source information by the center wavelength detected by the center wavelength sensor 2 and the brightness detected by the brightness sensor 3, and a current controlling means to control a current value and a duty value to light the solid light source. Based on the light source information obtained by the light source information obtaining means, by controlling the current value and the duty value supplied to the solid light source by the current controlling means, light of desired brightness and wavelength is output. Moreover, only regarding a green LED and a blue LED out of the solid light source constituting 3 primary colors, they are controlled to the light of the desired brightness and wavelength. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
