<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly settle a slippage of a cutting position caused by the passage of a paster, with a mark detecting head disposed on the upstream side of a triangular plate, regarding a cutting position control of a rotary press. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary press is equipped with a cutting position control device which has the mark detecting head disposed on the downstream side of a compensator roller and on the upstream side of the triangular plate and detecting a mark printed on a web, an encoder rotating synchronously with a cutting cylinder, and a cut-off controller controlling the compensator roller on the basis of a detection signal from the mark detecting head and a reference pulse signal from the encoder, thereby controlling the cutting position for cutting the web. A control method relating to the rotary press controls running of the web on the occasion when the paster of the web comes in. When the paster of the web comes into a web pass line between the compensator roller and the cutting cylinder, a draw value (S20) and an air blow pressure (S30) at the triangular plate are changed temporarily. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
