PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve estimation precision of the amount of a component corresponding to noise. SOLUTION: An OFDM symbol comprising a guard interval prescribed with the same pattern with a rear portion of an effective symbol and an effective symbol disposed behind the guard interval is input to an estimating unit 54. The estimating unit 54 derives the difference between a part of the effective interval which should correspond to the guard interval and the guard interval for the input OFDM symbol to estimate the amount of the component corresponding to the noise.
