PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein, in a conventional air compressor, it is highly possible that a rod is deformed and a roller separates from an oblique groove when the roller at a tip of the rod moves along the oblique groove, in particular, in a state where the rod is extracted from a cylinder since the rod is supported only at inlet and outlet parts of the cylinder, and it is not practical to provide the conventional air compressor. SOLUTION: This air compressor is structured such that a guide is arranged on the inside surface of a case covering the circumference of a rotating cam; a slider sliding by a sine curve groove of the rotating cam is attached to the guide; and a piston rod of an air cylinder is attached to the slider.
