The device has two containers (1) for accommodating contact lenses (9), where the containers are closed by a cover (10). Both the containers in whose upper side a hollow body is arranged, whose inner space forms a reservoir (2) for a disinfecting fluid. A passage (V1,V2) is provided between the containers and the inner space, over which the fluid is brought from the inner space into the container.
