Descriptive abstract. The present invention concerns a hydrostatic transmission system for a vehicle, comprising: -a primary engine (M) rotating a primary shaft (31), -an output shaft (1) designed to rotate a wheel, -a gear train (3) forming a mechanical chain between the primary shaft (31) and the output shaft (1) via a secondary shaft (32), -a slow hydraulic radial piston engine (42), -a fast engine (43) that is either a hydraulic axial piston engine or an electric engine, -a variable displacement hydraulic pump (41) designed to be selectively coupled to or disengaged from the primary shaft (31) and designed to supply pressure to said hydraulic engine or engines (42, 43), -a control (5) designed to control the rotation of the output shaft (1) by the slow hydraulic engine (42), by the fast engine (43) or by the shaft. |
