A battery for a cellular phone and the cellular phone having the battery are provided to enable a user to carry or use the overall cellular phone conveniently by inserting the user's finger into a holding unit attached to or equipped in a rear side of the battery, thereby improving convenience. A body(10) is detachably mounted on a cellular phone body(100). A holding member(20) is integratedly attached to a rear side of the body, so that a user is able to hold or carry a cellular phone by inserting the cellular phone into the user's finger. The holding member comprises as follows. A base(22) is adhered to the rear side of the body. A mounting unit(24) is formed in groove type on the base. The user's finger is inserted into a holding unit(26) to hold the cellular phone.
