Toothed chain

Some chain links (2) exhibit profile displacement (delta y) in their teeth (11). Some chain sections include a first type of link (B), others have both the first type (B), and a second type of link (A), which exhibits a profile displacement relative to the first type. Some chain sections only include type B, others have only the second type (A) with the profile displacement. The toothed chain has guidance links in addition; these are covering links. The outer contour of all chain links (1) is the same and the profile displacement (delta y) is achieved by a shift in the arrangement of openings accommodating the joint pins (5).
