Femoral rod for a hip prosthesis

The prosthesis has a rod (1) having a general axis (A-A') making an angle (alpha) with an axis (B-B') of a neck (2). The angle has, by projection in a frontal plane, a specific value, in which alpha equals 0.1376L + 108.3648 +- e, in which L is the length of the rod and e is a tolerance of 0.09 degree. The neck has a length (lc), measured between the end opposite to the rod and a base for connecting the neck and the rod, which is expressed by equation, in which lc equals 0.248 L -1.5 +- e', in which e' has tolerance of 0.25mm. An independent claim is also included for an assembly of hip prosthesis.
