An apparatus and a method for providing broadcast-related contents in real time in an IP broadcast system are provided to allow a user to manage personalized broadcast information according to his preference and download the latest data or information according to the selected Web feed information. A data receiving unit(310) receives broadcast data from a network. A middleware processing unit(320) processes an image and a voice of the broadcast data. A user screen processing unit(330) displays the processed information of the broadcast data on a screen of a user terminal. A user preference processing unit(350) automatically determines user preference information based on broadcast program information selected by the user. A user interface(360) displays fed contents information on the screen of the user terminal and receives a user input. A network processing unit(340) transfers the user preference information to a broadcast supplementary information server and receives contents information transmitted from the broadcast supplementary information server.
