PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit for an air conditioner reinforced such that thicknesses in outer shell parts can be reduced and struts in packaging can be eliminated, and a top panel is not dented even when someone gets on a top face. SOLUTION: The outdoor unit for the air conditioner is provided with a casing including at least the top panel and an outer shell, and a heat exchanger arranged in the casing.
