PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a downsized reflux type bill processor in which a dedicated reject bill storing part causing scale-up of the processor is eliminated, and in which if a plurality of small-denomination bills is fed continuously from a reflux type bill storing part continuously one by one as change or pay back and overlap conveyance of bills is detected, other bill storing part is used instead of the conventional reject bill storing part. SOLUTION: The reflux type bill processor includes: a bill depositing and dispensing section 4; a reflux type bill storing part 20 which can receive and feed small-denomination bills one by one; a collected large-denomination bill storing part 30 which is arranged at the downstream of the reflux type bill processor and can receive and hold with no circulation large or small denomination bills conveyed from a conveyance path 5; a bill dispensing pending section 40; a sensor 50 detecting the overlap conveyance; and control means 60 controlling these components. The conveyance path 5 includes a main conveyance path 6 which connects the bill depositing and dispensing section 4 directly to the collected large-denomination bill storing part 30; a branch conveyance path 7; and a bill dispensing path 8. A conveyance mechanism 10 includes a single drive source; and a power transmission mechanism which transmits the power from the drive source to the main conveyance path, the branch conveyance path, and the bill dispensing path.
