<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of an automatic opening/closing device of a vehicle by reducing the number of components. <P>SOLUTION: A tensioner storage chamber 42a is provided in the case 25 of a drive unit 22, and a tensioner mechanism for imparting a predetermined tension to cables 24a and 24b is housed in the tensioner storage chamber 42a. A cover 45 for closing the tensioner storage chamber 42a is fixed to the case 25, and the tensioner mechanism is covered with the cover 45. A pair of mounting leg portions 65 is provided in the cover 45 adjacently to a screw inserting portion 62 for fixing the cover 45 to the case 25, and the cover 45 is fixed to a vehicle body via the mounting leg portions 65.
