PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight connector capable of electrically connecting core wires of a fluorescent lamp with connector terminals by rotation of actuators, appropriately correcting bending or curving of the core wires, and enabling sure electric connection. SOLUTION: The connector is provided with connector housings (upper connectors 50) each mounting a fluorescent lamp 30, an actuator 83 fitted to the upper connector in free rotation, and a connector terminal 100 mounted on each upper connector 50. The connector terminal 100 is provided with a spring part 106 arranged so as to pinch a core wire 31 of each fluorescent lamp 30 from a radial direction, and a pressed part 110 formed so as to have the spring part 106 pressed toward inside the core wire 31 in a radial direction. The upper connector 50 is provided with a core wire housing part 88 and a pressed part housing part 811. The actuator 83 is provided with a core wire pressing part 89 entering the core wire housing part 88 to press down the core wire 30, and a terminal pressing part 87 entering the pressed part housing part 811 to press the pressed part 110.
