PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk drive device which can take in an optical disk even when an insertion amount of the optical disk from a disk insertion port is small. SOLUTION: The optical disk drive device is characterized in that a sub-lever 17 is provided at the top end part of a main lever 4a which reaches an insertion path of the optical disk, the main lever 4a is biased by a first biasing means 22 to the inside of the insertion path of the optical disk and the sub lever 17 is biased by a second biasing means 25 to the main lever 4a in the direction rotated toward the inside of the insertion path of the optical disk. The sub lever 17 abuts on the inserted optical disk prior to the main lever 4a and the main lever 4a is rotated to operate a detection switch 16. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
