The electromagnet has a magnetic pole (1) fixed in a housing (19) and facing an armature (2). An electrical coil (4) for the stroke actuation of the armature is connected with a valve closing member. The magnetic pole is designed as insertion parts and positioned by a springy connection in the housing. The springy connection is formed by a retaining spring (10). A spring side piece (8) in the housing produces pretensioning force on the magnetic pole. The retaining spring is made of a non magnetic material i.e. thin metal sheet. The magnetic pole has a sinter material.
