PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan heater capable of eliminating odor of fuel, odor caused by the incomplete combustion of fuel and other indoor odor and inactivating indoor virus or the like. SOLUTION: The fan heater comprises a vent passage 9 having a warm air blowoff port 4 at one end and an outside air suction port 3 at the other end. The vent passage 9 is provided with a fan 10 blowing off combustion gas generated in a fuel combustion section 12, from the warm air blowoff port 4. An electrostatic atomizing device 14 is provided for producing charged corpuscle water by applying high voltage to a discharge electrode 16 to electrostatically atomize water held in a discharge part 16b of the discharge electrode 16. A supply means 15 is provided for supplying the vent passage 9 with charged corpuscle water produced in the electrostatic atomizing device 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
