PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair curler which can simply wind the hair and does not adversely affect the hair such as the damage of the cuticle. SOLUTION: A hair restraining part 6, in which a rugged part 7 such as recessed grooves is formed by molding a silicon sponge resin having a suitable elasticity and showing high slide-friction resistance properties, is attached to the curved surface of a hair curler cylindrical part.
