The glove (10) has a border (11) formed from leather and provided in an inner hand. The glove is elongated and the border is knitted to the elongated glove by seams (13). The border is sprayed with a spray-on glue before knitting to the glove. The seams for fastening the border run laterally between fingers (12). A cover (15) is formed from leather, and the border completely surrounds a finger crest area and extends up to a half of the height of the finger. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a knitting glove.
