Disclosed is a novel amide compound or a salt thereof, which has a biofilm formation inhibitory activity or an activity of removing an already formed biofilm. Also disclosed is a biofilm formation inhibitor or a biofilm remover, which contains the amide compound or a salt thereof as an active ingredient.
