The motor control device has a current measuring device (106) for measuring motor currents. A comparison device (107) is provided for determining, whether motor current- measuring device exceeds a limiting value (A). An induction voltage calculation device (2) calculates induction voltage of a motor (104) and a device supplies the induction voltages to a cycloconverter. The motor-current-measuring value exceeds the limiting value, if the comparison device is locked.
