<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network quality monitoring device and a network quality monitoring method for preventing a load from being applied to a network. <P>SOLUTION: The network quality monitoring device 100 has: a traffic fluctuation prediction section 10 that collects the traffic information of the network via a probing device 30 and predicts prospective fluctuation in the traffic of the network from the traffic information over a prescribed period; and a quality measurement control section 12 for executing active system quality measurement performed by sending probing data when reduction in the traffic is predicted, based on a prediction result at the traffic fluctuation prediction section 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
