<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reading device that recognizes the orientation (angle) of the reading device on the surface of an object. <P>SOLUTION: The reading device comprises a position information decoding part 22 for reading position information about two points from a recording medium 10 with position information recorded, a vector extraction part 23 for extracting a positional relationship between read positions of the two points on the reading device 20, and an angle detection part 24 for extracting a positional relationship between the two points on the recording medium 10 from the position information read by the position information decoding part 22, and comparing the resultant positional relationship between the two points on the recording medium 10 and the positional relationship between the read positions of the two points extracted by the vector extraction part 23 to detect the angle of the reading device 20 to the recording medium 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
