The device (D) is dedicated to the analysis of time varying magnitudes. It comprises a tool for managing display windows (MA) each for displaying the representation of a selected magnitude and each associated with a first magnitude selection tool (01) and a second time reference(s) selection tool (02) coupled to the management tool (MA). The device (D) further includes a third link tool (03a-03c) which i) allows a user, who has selected several magnitudes and related time references, to select at least two of the display windows and the selected magnitudes, and ii) connects together the first tools (01) and/or second tools (02) of the selected display windows so that the selection of a magnitude by the user using one of the first related tools (01), or master tool, of a master window results in the selection of the same magnitude by the management tool (MA) at each so-called slave display window, and/or so that the selection of a time reference by one of the second related tools (02) results in the selection of the same time reference by the management tool (MA) at each slave display window. |
