Based on previously-determined correction values, the compensation unit (19) controls drives (18) of the transfer cylinders (16). This causes rotation of the satellite cylinder (17) they drive, between a printing position "on" and a printing position "off". The control is such that the drives (18) compensate rotation of the satellite cylinder (17) caused by displacement of the transfer cylinder (16).
