PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element that can prolong attenuation time of brightness attenuation curve (life curve), and to provide a display device using the same as well as a lighting device. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element is provided with positive and negative electrodes on a supporting substrate and at least one layer wherein an organic compound layer including a non-light emitting material A therebetween is provided.
