PURPOSE:To simplify the structure and lower the cost of a luminaire by spreading a shade main body which is so composed as to be expanded or contracted into a lantern shape on a supporting frame body and supporting a supporting rod by inserting the rod into an eyelet formed in the shade main body. CONSTITUTION:The tip parts projected toward the outside of right and left vertical part rods 9, 10 of a supporting rod 13 are bent respectively downward to form hook parts, a supporting part 15 is formed in the center position of the supporting rod 13, and a socket 16 is fixed in the supporting rod 13. An electric power source cord 20 is connected with the socket 16 and an insertion plug 21 and a switch are attached to the cord 20. A shade main body 1 is put to cover a supporting frame body 6 of a stand metal fitting 5 composed of a socket 16 and an electric bulb 17 set in the socket by screwing and a small frame part 12 of an upper part rod 8 is set to face to the upper end open part 2. The main body 1 is expanded downward, both ends of the supporting rod 13 are inserted into eyelets 4, 4 installed near the lower end open part 3, and the eyelets 4, 4 are suspended by the hook parts 14, 14 to keep the main body 1 in spherically expanded state.
