PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, such as a liquid crystal display panel, a plasma display panel, and an organic EL display panel, which is capable of reducing electric power to be consumed in a semiconductor driving device without changing a driving load and the output voltage of a semiconductor driving device and without replacing the semiconductor driving device. SOLUTION: A resistor 102 is inserted between a power source output section (not shown in Figure) of a supply power source 101 and a power source terminal 105 of the semiconductor driving device 103 so that a part of the electric power to be intrinsically consumed by the semiconductor driving device is shared and consumed with the resistor.
