<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electroconductive yarn that has not only high conductivity in the yarn length direction and environmental adaptability (low temperature and humidity dependence property of electroconductive characteristics) but also suppresses reduction in toner removability on a photoreceptor in long-time running by maintaining the elasticity recovery of fiber. <P>SOLUTION: The electroconductive yarn includes a fiber that contains carbon black and is composed of a polybutylene terephthalate having a weight-average molecular weight Mw of 75,000-500,000 and a dispersion Mw/Mn of 1.5-6 and has an electroconductive layer forming at least a part of a fiber surface and has an average resistivity P of 10<SP>3</SP>-10<SP>11</SP>Ω/cm in the yarn length direction in the fiber and in a multifilament composed of the fiber and the ratio ESR (ESR=Q/P) of the standard deviation Q of the resistivity to the average resistivity P in the yarn length direction of ≤0.3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
