PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent position deviation or the like of a pedal arm in an accelerator pedal device. SOLUTION: The accelerator pedal device is provided with: the pedal arm 30 having an accelerator pedal 30a; housings 10, 20 for oscillatably supporting the pedal arm between a rest position and the maximum stepping-in position around an oscillation axis L; and a return spring 40 for giving urging force for returning the pedal arm to the rest position. In the pedal arm 30, movement in a direction approximately parallel to the oscillation axis L is restricted on a left part (upper end 36) left from the oscillation axis L. According to this, position deviation from the oscillation axis of the pedal arm or rattling generated when an area (bearing area) of the oscillation axis is only restricted is prevented, the accelerator pedal (pedal arm) can be oscillated between the rest position and the maximum stepping-in position at high accuracy, and it can be stopped at the predetermined (regular) rest position with sufficient repeatability even at the rest.
