A location information service system using a telephone number and a method therefor are provided to display a user's desired location on a wireless terminal by using the current location information, a searched telephone number, and destination location information, thereby more easily receiving road information. Plural VAN terminals(300-1~300-N) store/provide location information, telephone numbers, and advertising images of affiliated stores corresponding to the destination. A wireless terminal(400) receives the current location information, demands a telephone number of a store, receives a telephone number and an advertising image as well as destination location information from a VAN terminal located in the destination, and calculates road information to the destination from the current location, then displays the calculated road information on a predetermined map. A telephone number management server(500) links the telephone numbers of the VAN terminals with the location information of the stores to store the linked information, and searches the numbers of the VAN terminals to send a telephone number of the wireless terminal to a VAN terminal of a store using a telephone number of the destination requested by the wireless terminal.
