WRITE-ONCE TYPE OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to improve the recording characteristics at a high speed recording by bettering power margin at the high speed recording in a write-once type optical recording medium having an inorganic recording film.

SOLUTION: This write-once type optical recording medium 10 is equipped with an inorganic recording film 2 under the condition that the inorganic recording film 2 is equipped with an oxidic film 2a including the oxide of germanium (Ge) and an adjoining film 2b, which includes titanium (Ti) and manganese (Mn) and is adjacent to the oxidic film 2a.
