PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket having excellent sealing performance and durability without being influenced by properties of a sealed surface between two members. SOLUTION: The gasket 1A comprises a compound layer 1a made by molding a compound material 1c composed of rubber or a synthetic resin having a fiber material 1b mixed therein into a prescribed annular shape.
