PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation reinforcing method superior in workability, by surely increasing strength in an existing foundation itself to which stress from a sill is directly transmitted, when reinforcing a concrete foundation part of an existing wooden house. SOLUTION: Surface mortar on one side of a foundation 12 is chipped off, and a notch of the 1 to 2 cm corner is formed in a vertical 5 to 10 cm position of the concrete foundation 12 by using a sander. An epoxy adhesive is applied to its notch port, and an aramid fiber rod 14 is inserted. When necessary, an aramid fiber sheet 19 is stuck to a surface by using the epoxy adhesive, and a concrete surface is finished with mortar. This is applied over the whole foundation part periphery of the existing wooden house, and the existing foundation itself can be reinforced thereby with excellent workability.
