PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape cutting device and a tape printer, which well cut a tape-like member with a short stroke. SOLUTION: In the tape cutting device 20, a cutter blade 70 is made to perform a cutting operation in a push-cut method with respect to the tape-like member T disposed along a receiving member 72. A cutting edge of the cutter blade 70 is composed of a straight blade, and a table receiving surface 75 of the receiving member 72 is formed in a saw teeth shape in the blade line direction of the cutter blade 70, and a slit 76 is formed for receiving the cutter blade 70 in the receiving member 72.
