PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal capable of effectively using a motion sensor. SOLUTION: This portable terminal comprises: a first housing in which a main display device is formed on one face, and a sub-display device is formed on the opposite face; a second housing in which a main key input device is formed on one face; and a hinge part for connecting the first and second housings so that those housings can be folded in two with the main display device and the main key input device faced inside. The portable terminal further comprises a motion sensor part for detecting the fluctuation of the position and/or angle of the portable terminal and outputting a signal corresponding to the fluctuation. In the portable terminal, the display of the sub-display device can be controlled in accordance with the output signal of the motion sensor part in such a state that the first and second housings are folded in two.
