This invention relates to an edition data producing apparatus for producing a first data for editing a cinema film based on a second edition data obtained by editing a television video signal reproduced from a record medium on which a cinema signal is recorded in a manner of the television videosignal, in which the television video signal is obtained from the cinema signal by an m : n ratio (m and n are both integers) pull-down conversion. In this case, an edition video frame address representative of an edition location of the television video signal and a reference video frame address representative of the video frame address corresponding to a predetermined cinema frame address of the cinema signal are supplied to a circuit which then produces a relative address between the edition video frame address and the reference video frame address and a circuit is provided for dividing a number representative of the relative address by a number in relation to a number of the m and n, so that a surplus is detected and responsive to a number of the surplus and a field data representative of a field status of the edition location video address and the television video frame address is converted to the cinema frame address.
