Frequency, phase and amplitude determining method for e.g. frequency-scanning interferometry, involves accomplishing common adjustment and optimization of correction table, window function and/or interpolation

The method involves filtering input data with a window function, and accomplishing an evaluation of the input data by a fast fourier transformation (FFT). Situation of maximum of an amount of FFT-coefficient is determined, and an interpolation with help of the FFT-coefficient is accomplished. A frequency-dependant correction table is introduced, and a common adjustment and optimization of the correction table, the window function and/or the interpolation are accomplished. A linear correction is accomplished in dependence of estimated frequency.
