A system for controlling a street lamp is provided to minimize power consumption by properly controlling the illuminance of an LED(Light Emitting Diode) according to a peripheral situation. A system for controlling a street lamp includes a server(100) of a central control center, a main controller of the street lamp, and a local controller(400). The server of the central control server outputs the illumination control information and the on/off of the LED(10). The main controller of the street lamp receives the on and off of the LED from the server of the central control center. The local controller is installed in the street lamp(1). The local controller receives the on/off of the LED and the illumination control information from the main controller of the street lamp and controls the on/off and illumination of the LED. |
