<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device which stably obtains a desired light distribution characteristic, is easily built in equipment, and has an electro-wetting effect. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device 1 includes: a first conductive liquid 11; a second insulating liquid 12 of the refractive index different from that of the first liquid; a liquid chamber for holding the first and second liquids; a voltage applying means which change a figure of interface 13A between the first and second liquids; and a light emitting body 20 located in the liquid chamber. Locating the light emitting body 20 in the liquid chamber allows a lens element 13 and the light source to be integrated, thereby, the miniaturization and thinnig of the whole light source device is attained. Since the integrated design of the light source and the lens element, the production, and the buildup into an equipment are available, the desired light distribution characteristic is stably obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
