PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of inhibiting visual recognition of a game status display part from directions other than a predetermined direction that is directly opposite to the game machine. SOLUTION: The game machine has a game board 6 having various game members provided on a game board base 7, a game control means for controlling proceeding of a game, and a game status display 21 provided on the back side of the game board and having the game status display part 13 for displaying a status of the game that is controlled by the game control means. The game status display is arranged so that the game status display part is in a position directly opposite to a player. The game status display has a cover member 40 which is arranged in front of the game status display with a specified space and which has a translucent part in its partial region for allowing the visual recognition of the game status display part, and a visual recognition inhibiting member 43 which is provided on the cover member for inhibiting the visual recognition from the directions other than the predetermined direction that is directly opposite to the translucent part of the game machine.
