POLYEPOXIDE-POLYOXYALKYLENE AMINE RESIN AND ELECTRODEPOSITION PAINT COMPOSITION COMPRISING THE SAME

A polyepoxide-polyoxyalkylene amine resin for an electrodeposition coating composition is provided to form a coating film resistant against pinholes and craters, and to improve the appearance, adhesion and anti-corrosive property of the coating film. A polyepoxide-polyoxyalkylene amine resin is prepared from the reaction of polyepoxide, into which a semi-blocked polyisocyanate is introduced, and polyoxyalkylene amine. The semi-blocked polyisocyanate is blocked with at least one selected from phenols, lactams, alcohols, oximes, imidazoles and mixtures thereof. The semi-blocked polyisocyanate is present in an amount of 0.05-0.85 eq per equivalent of hydroxy groups in the polyepoxide.
