摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a laminate suitable as a fluid barrier which protects building components against alkaline salts, penetration of water or moisture, such as rising damp, and structural subsidences. The flexible laminate comprises a liquid tight membrane in between two sheets of alkaline resistant mesh and is laminated at regular distances by fusion or by applying a strip of laminate tape, providing free parts of mesh between the connections. The present invention also describes a method for applying this laminate to a wall or floor, thereby incorporating the laminate into the covering layers such as rendering, plaster, equalization layers, etc. Also a method for providing a liquid tight seal between two said laminates is enclosed by the present invention.</p>
