A display substrate, a method for manufacturing the same, and a display device having the same are provided to reduce a kick-back voltage difference between pixels and to solve the problem of color shift due to change of color coordinates in a low gradation area. A thin film transistor layer(110) is formed on an insulating substrate(150). The thin film transistor layer includes a gate line, a data line(DL) insulated from the gate line by a gate insulating layer(111), a thin film transistor(TFT) connected to the gate line and the data line, and a storage electrode(SE) formed on the same layer as the gate line within each pixel. A color filter layer(130) is formed on the thin film transistor layer and includes a storage hole(SEH) corresponding to the storage electrode, wherein the storage hole has a wider area than the storage electrode. A pixel electrode(140) is formed on the color filter layer such that the pixel electrode and the storage electrode form a storage capacitor in a region of the storage hole.
