A printer and a method for forming a pattern using the same are provided to reduce failure in formation of a pattern by using a printing roll from which printing solution is removed. A printer includes a body(31), a printing roll(34), a suction device(40), and an absorption layer(32). A first suction hole(31a) is formed in a surface of the body, and a cavity is formed in the body. The printing roll wraps the surface of the body, and includes a blanket(33) to which printing solution is transferred. The suction device is connected with the body, and sucks the printing solution soaked in the blanket through the first suction hole. The absorption layer includes a second suction hole(32a) formed between the body and the blanket. The absorption layer is formed of porous resin. |
