A valve block for a hydraulic press is provided to enhance the durability and loss the weight of the valve block by manufacturing the valve block with light aluminum material. A valve block for a hydraulic press comprises a main conduit line(110) to transfer actuating oil, which is supplied from a supply pump. The main conduit line includes a first pressure regulating valve(113) for regulating the pressure of the actuating oil and a second pressure regulating valve(115) for discharging the working oil. A descending prevention valve is provided to open/close a lifting conduit line(130), which is connected with the main conduit line to communicate with a bottom portion of a cylinder for a hydraulic press. An ascending valve(122) is provided to open/close a descending conduit line(120), which is connected with the main conduit line to communicate with a bottom portion of a cylinder for a hydraulic press.
