An air conditioner is provided to reduce flow-induced noise by mixing liquefied refrigerant flowing at the lower part of a refrigerant pipe with gaseous refrigerant flowing at the upper part of the refrigerant pipe. An air conditioner comprises an expansion valve(130) decompressing refrigerant, an evaporator(140) evaporating the decompressed refrigerant, a muffler(150) disposed between the expansion valve and the evaporator, and a mixing member such as a first guide pipe(172). The muffler reduces noise caused by the refrigerant flowing from the expansion valve to the evaporator. The mixing member is disposed between the expansion valve and the muffler to mix liquefied refrigerant with gaseous refrigerant that flow through a refrigerant pipe(160).
