FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind mill electric power generation and wind mill electric generators based on the Magnus effect can be used. The said generator incorporates a lengthwise shaft designed to transfer a rotary motion to the mechanism generating electric power, rotary cylinders arranged radially relative the said lengthwise shaft and drive motors to rotate the cylinders about their axes. Note here that interaction of rotary motion of each cylinder and wind initiate a lift caused by the Magnus effect that causes the rotation of the lengthwise shaft that, in its turn, triggers off the mechanism generating electric power. An appropriate means for creation of lift is arranged on the cylinders outer surfaces at a preset point to create a component of air flow, at least, parallel to the cylinder axis aligned along one direction of the cylinder peripheral outer surface from the lengthwise shaft or towards it. ^ EFFECT: efficient electric power generation with low and high wind speeds. ^ 11 cl, 19 dwg |
