An ion generating device is provided to reduce the generated amount of cation more by guiding most of the cation generated from a cation generating portion to be combined with the anions. An ion generating device is installed inside a channel in which air flows and supplies anion for the air moving along the channel. The ion generating device includes a cation generating portion(11a), an anion generating portion(11b), a body(11) and a cover(12). The cation generating portion is disposed on the upstream side of the air flowing direction. The anion generating portion is disposed on the downstream side of the air flowing direction. The cation generating portion and the anion generating portion are disposed on one side of the body to be separated from each other. The cover covers one side of the body.
