An anti-vibration member interposed between a vibration generating unit and a base is provided to prevent transmission of vibration from the vibration generating unit to a supporting frame. An anti-vibration member comprises a pair of elastic rubber members(10), and a coil spring(20) interposed between rubber members. The rubber members have a first part(11), a second part(12), a tapered unit(13), and a partial tapered unit(14) which are successively aligned. The first part is contacted to one end of the coil spring. The second part, of which a base end portion is integrally assembled to a front end of the first part to form a first step unit(d1), fixes the one end of the coil spring. One end of the coil spring is contacted to the second part. The tapered unit, of which a base end portion is integrally assembled to a front end of the second part, forms a second step unit(d2) which is larger than the first step unit. A base end portion of the partial tapered unit is integrally formed with a front end of the tapered unit. The tapered unit and the partial tapered unit are aligned on the same line.
